Job Summary

This is an on-call position that requires the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the setup and maintenance of events, as well as performing various tasks related to asset management and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of events, including loading and unloading trucks, staging assets, and maintaining the general cleanliness of the warehouse workspace.
  • Perform various tasks related to asset management, including barcoding, inventory, and asset maintenance.
  • Assist with light fabrication work, with direct supervision and training.
  • Build assets in the warehouse for testing or documentation purposes.
  • Test and QC production elements, such as audio, lighting, and FX machines.

Requirements

  • Ability to complete physically demanding tasks, such as standing and/or walking for long periods.
  • Ability to lift objects without an established maximum weight, though most objects will be below 50 lbs.
  • A drive to learn about some part of the entertainment industry.
  • Ability to problem-solve and properly escalate issues as they are encountered in the workplace.
  • Must work well in a team-based environment and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Must be prompt and able to work all shifts as assigned.

Pay Details

  • Starting at $17/hr. This position is on call, so there is no guarantee of specific hours. However, the minimum shift worked would be 4 hours, with most shifts lasting a full 8 hours.
