Job Title: Permanent Lab Manager in New Orleans, Louisiana

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Manager to oversee daily operations, manage a team of lab technicians, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train lab staff to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols to protect employees and the environment.
  • Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies to maintain a well-stocked laboratory.
  • Manage laboratory schedules and project timelines to meet deadlines and deliver results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Biology or Chemistry.
  • ASCP certification or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a laboratory management role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and laboratory procedures.
