About the Role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a home care setting. As a CNA, you will work closely with the Registered Nurse Case Manager (RNCM) to provide direct care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct care to patients as directed by the RNCM.
  • Maintain patient comfort and safety.
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) such as serving meals, feeding patients, and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients.
  • Provide adjunct care, including administering enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz, and therapeutic baths or showers.
  • Communicate effectively with the RNCM and other healthcare team members.
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuing education.

Requirements:

  • High-school diploma or GED.
  • One year of experience in a home care setting.
  • Certified Nursing Licensure/Certification with current certification in the state of residence.
  • Reliable transportation, proof of current automobile insurance, and a valid driver's license.
