A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PATIENT REGISTRATION COORDINATOR
As a front desk professional, you will engage in a variety of responsibilities.
This role combines customer service, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and direct patient communication into a fulfilling position. Our thorough training program will ensure you are well-prepared to excel in your duties. You will primarily interact with patients, both over the phone and in person.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering patient inquiries
- Scheduling and checking in patients for their appointments
- Verifying insurance information
- Collaborating with nursing staff to ensure efficient scheduling with healthcare providers
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PATIENT REGISTRATION COORDINATOR
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Patience and the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels
- A compassionate approach towards patients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
WORK SCHEDULE
Shift 1:
Monday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Off Tuesday, Wednesday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Shift 2:
Saturday 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM, Off Monday, Tuesday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
