LPN - Medical Office Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Needham Family Practice Associates.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced primary care medical office setting. This includes:
- Rooming patients, taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing rapid testing.
- Ordering and documenting patient information, as well as scheduling appointments.
- Providing general care and education to patients, including medication reconciliation and procedure assistance.
The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for:
- Recording and reporting patient symptoms and medical history.
- Assisting with medical procedures and coordinating patient visits.
- Preparing exam and treatment rooms for patient examinations.
- Cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment and instruments.
- Reviewing patient charts and records, including medical history and treatment plans.
- Maintaining inventory and stock of clinical and medicinal supplies.
- Educating patients on current health issues and promoting health and wellness.
- Practicing safety and health code standards, and adhering to company policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:
- A minimum of vocational or technical nursing training.
- 0-6 months of experience in a medical office setting.
- LPN licensure and phlebotomy experience (a plus, but not required).
- Ability to use electronic medical records, web browsers, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with eClinicalworks (valuable, but not required).
