About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic to join our team at Kawanti Adventures and Taquan Air in Ketchikan, Alaska. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of our aircraft fleet.

The estimated salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement plans.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair aircraft engines, airframes, and related systems.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with FAA regulations.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues to prevent accidents and downtime.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and management to achieve operational goals.

Required Qualifications:
  • Valid A&P certification.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
