We are seeking a highly qualified Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team as a Clinical Faculty member in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring residents, medical students, and midwifery students, and contributing to the development of our Centering Pregnancy program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide labor and delivery care, attend births with OBGYN residents, and conduct OB triage for patients of all risk levels
- Postpartum rounding and teaching of residents, medical students, and midwifery students
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our Centering Pregnancy program
- Participate in departmental and divisional meetings, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- RN and CNM licensure per the California Board of Registered Nursing
- DEA number
- Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board
- Master's degree in nursing, public health, or a related field
- Minimum of one year clinical experience as a CNM (antepartum and intrapartum)
- Proficiency in Spanish
- Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
- Experience facilitating Centering Pregnancy groups
- Experience teaching OB/GYN residents and/or other interdisciplinary learners
