Ciena Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Unit Manager to lead our nursing team at Christian Park Village. As a RN Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care and health education to our guests, while also supervising and mentoring our nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and mentor Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), and other nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Nursing Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans for guests, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Quality Improvement: Identify areas for quality improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care and staff performance.
- Guest Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of guests' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Medication Administration: Understand the rational for the use of medications and treatments, and administer as needed.
Qualifications:
- Nursing Licensure: Current state nursing licensure required.
- CPR Certification: Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired.
- Management Experience: Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
