Compensation Analyst Job Description

A.C. Coy is seeking a skilled Compensation Analyst to support the administration of our job documentation, analyses, and grading programs. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of compensation administration experience, including spreadsheet design and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the administration of job documentation, analyses, and grading programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine key components of positions and conduct external market data and internal equity analyses.
  • Recommend salary grades for positions and ensure job descriptions are current and accurate.
  • Conduct FLSA testing and prepare recommendations.
  • Maintain and update the bonus program by calculating bonus accruals and annual bonuses.
  • Manage and analyze data from multiple sources, including market data, PeopleSoft, and Morningstar.
  • Update balanced scorecards with fund assignments, peer groups, performance targets, and distribute them for review and approval.
  • Prepare Portfolio Manager compensation disclosure statements and coordinate the receipt and review of performance appraisals.
  • Analyze data and conduct market research in support of annual compensation programs.
  • Participate in management meetings to understand and document recommendations for promotions/salary adjustments and develop the compensation planning calendar.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4 years of experience with compensation administration, including spreadsheet design and analysis
  • Strong grasp of HRIS, Microsoft Office, and Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) regulations
  • Knowledge of PeopleSoft and MS Access preferred
  • Strong statistical analysis skills and project management experience a plus
