Economics Lecturer

The Department of Economics at the University of Minnesota seeks qualified candidates to teach courses in economics. As a lecturer, you will have the opportunity to teach undergraduate classes and contribute to the department's teaching mission.
Job Duties- Teach undergraduate classes in economics as determined by the department chair and the Director of Undergraduate studies.
- Oversee teaching assistants and course administration as needed.
- Provide service to the department as appropriate.
- Ph.D. in Economics or a closely-related field.
- Minimum two years' teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge in course content area, evidence of excellent written and verbal communication skills, and specific teaching need within the department.
