Community Paramedic

AmeriMed is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Paramedic to join our team in Sandy, UT. As a Community Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing in-home assessment and treatment of patients enrolled in the Wellbe Programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality patient care in accordance with clinical operating policies, statewide protocols, and accepted standards of care
- Attend to all patients in a courteous, professional manner
- Participate in discharge planning of Wellbe patients
- Complete initial in-home assessments and on-going home visits as appropriate for all patients enrolled in the program
- Ensure deployed Wellbe devices are tracked and in good working order at all times
- Utilize a Home Safety Checklist prior to patient care and report the form to Division Manager
- Must be able to maintain a reliable attendance record including coming to work on time
- Fully state certified as a Paramedic as defined by the State of Utah
- Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- 3 years minimum of experience as a Paramedic
- The Community Paramedic must be in good Clinical standing pass the scenarios test and PT test
- Must possess strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to work independently; must be able to function as part of a care planning team
- Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), CT, CCP are preferred. State required
- PALS, BLS, ACLS cards must be current as required by the State of Utah
