We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team at KCARC. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral support services to individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement behavior support plans in collaboration with individuals, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide training and guidance to direct support staff on the effective implementation of behavior support plans.
- Supervise and monitor the implementation of behavioral services in Residential Services, Adult Day Services, and Manufacturing Services.
- Manage a caseload of individuals receiving behavioral management services and ensure timely and effective delivery of services.
- Meet budgetary and clinical objectives for all services, ensuring optimal growth and development for individuals served.
- Master's degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, school psychology, or another applied health service area of psychology, special education, social work, or counseling.
- Or be a licensed marriage and family therapist, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed mental health counselor/therapist, or have a master's degree in a human services field and demonstrate coursework in behavior management.
