Pay: $63.33 / hour. Compensation is based on the applicant's relevant experience.
Position Overview:
The Clinical Educator will deliver educational services for the inpatient neurosciences unit at UC Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engages with management and clinical staff to evaluate the educational needs and competencies of nursing personnel.
- Designs, implements, and evaluates educational programs and curricula that align with clinical competencies, departmental policies, regulatory standards, and the application of clinical information technologies.
- Acts as a consultant and mentor for nursing staff in program development, clinical practice, and professional growth.
- Contributes to the creation, organization, and execution of orientation and educational initiatives for new clinical staff.
- Requires critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required; a Master's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification, and any relevant certifications as determined by the position level.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. - Experience in neuroscience is preferred.
