Job Summary

ASM Global, a leading provider of venue management and event services, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team at the Shreveport Convention Center/Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, bathrooms, and other high-touch areas using established protocols and procedures.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, emptying trash and recycling bins, and restocking supplies.
  • Operate and maintain assigned cleaning equipment and tools, including buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, and high-pressure washers.
  • Strip, clean, and apply floor finishes to hard surface floors, and shampoo carpets as needed.
  • Assist with inventory control and security, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Uphold department and facility standards, procedures, and policies, and report any issues or concerns to management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; knowledge of Banquet Event Order (BEO) preferred.
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds unaided, balance, and have good manual dexterity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to interact with all levels of staff, including management.
  • Ability to work flexible, irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Working Conditions

The working hours for this position are scheduled based on the needs of the facility, and may include part-time on-call scheduling. Reliable transportation and a client service-oriented attitude are required.
