Job Opportunity: Material Handler

Expert Staffing is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Fitchburg, MA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and physically capable individual to assist in the movement and organization of pallets, sort and dispose of recyclable materials, and perform housekeeping tasks in the die cutting department.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to move pallets of work-in-process.
  • Sort and dispose of recyclable materials, including paperboard and other waste.
  • Assist in the preparation of raw materials, tools, and supplies for production.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks in the die cutting department, including cleaning and organizing work areas.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in materials handling or a similar warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to perform simple math and read, write, and speak English.
  • Experience operating hand trucks, skid turners, and small hand tools.
  • Familiarity with order picking processes and distribution center operations.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
