Job Summary

Expert Staffing is seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in Fitchburg, MA. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by moving and organizing pallets of work-in-process, sorting marginal and non-conforming product, and assisting with die cutting and production tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate hand trucks and other equipment to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Sort and categorize materials to ensure accurate inventory and efficient production.
  • Assist with die cutting and production tasks, including gathering raw materials and supplies.
  • Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in materials handling or a similar warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to perform simple math and read, write, and speak English.
  • Experience operating hand trucks, skid turners, and small hand tools.
  • Familiarity with order picking processes and distribution center operations.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
