Job Summary:

This role is part of the Supply Chain Management team at OSF HealthCare. The Supply Chain Associate will be responsible for performing a variety of duties including checking and restocking supply carts, filling orders, and distributing supplies throughout the Medical Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check and restock supply carts to ensure adequate inventory levels
  • Fulfill orders and distribute supplies to various departments within the Medical Center
  • Perform courier duties as needed, including transporting patients and items
  • Restock inventory and enter inventory counts to maintain accurate records
  • Receive and ship supplies, and collect and affix postage to parcels
  • Assemble and prepare supplies for distribution
  • Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, taking and relaying routine information, and completing necessary documentation

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, and perform simple mathematical calculations
  • High school education or equivalent, with ability to complete documentation at a level normally acquired through completion of high school education
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions, and adhere to established work priorities
  • 6-12 months experience in performing clerical duties, with ability to learn terminology and procedures
  • Ability to operate a computer and give simple commands to computer at a basic level
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (when functioning as courier)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in supply chain management or logistics
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new procedures and systems
