Job Summary

Rivergate KW Residential is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Groundskeeper/Housekeeper- Greenside to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, including grounds, amenities, and interior and exterior building spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, and building spaces, including daily trash removal and litter control.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and repairing equipment, and performing minor repairs and replacements.
  • Assist with landscaping and gardening tasks, including planting and pruning.
  • Operate various equipment and tools, including tractors, mowers, and hand tools, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Report any maintenance concerns or issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Assist with the inspection, repair, and installation of sprinkler systems.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to diagnose and solve maintenance issues in apartment homes, exterior and common areas.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 5-9 months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory software and order processing systems a plus.

Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually loud.
