Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and document vital signs, promptly reporting any irregularities to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Facilitate patient arrivals and departures, manage appointment scheduling, and ensure a seamless experience for all patients.
- Recognize and respond to emergencies in accordance with established protocols.
- Exhibit proficiency in the use of clinical equipment, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met.
- Maintain an organized supply of linens and medical materials, restocking examination rooms as necessary.
- Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
- Document patient interactions and medical records accurately, adhering to departmental guidelines.
- Utilize electronic medical records to access patient information and coordinate follow-up care.
- Prepare safety reports as required and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Engage with clinic management to address operational needs and patient concerns effectively.
Essential Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience of at least two years in a relevant field.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Work Schedule: Day shifts available.
