About the Role
As an Oncology Sales Specialist at Syneos Health/inVentiv Health Commercial LLC, you will play a crucial role in promoting our client's products and building lasting business relationships with healthcare providers.
The ideal candidate has a passion for results, is bold, empathetic, and resourceful. With a competitive drive and exceptional communication skills, you will effectively communicate the science behind our client's products and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Consistently achieve or exceed revenue targets
- Create and execute a strategically developed business plan that reflects local market and account-specific knowledge
- Develop and maintain strong disease state knowledge and exemplary selling skills
- Demonstrate and communicate in-depth knowledge of the clinical benefits of our client's products to external stakeholders
- Execute marketing strategies, deliver branded and disease state sales messages, and execute planned promotional programs
- Provide exceptional customer service through total account management, ensuring product access and triaging medical or reimbursement issues
- Utilize matrix team members to address customer needs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- A minimum of 7 years of successful biotech/pharmaceutical sales experience
- A minimum of 3 years working in the Hematology/Oncology market, preferably selling hematology
- A history of selling an oral oncology product preferred
- History of successful sales performance documented in annual reviews and sales reports
- Demonstrated strong business analytics and account management skills
- Demonstrated ability to gain consistent access and develop strong professional relationships with healthcare providers in community and academic settings
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in matrix teams
- Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record
