Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational services team, you will provide exceptional speech-language therapy services to students, ensuring compliance with all local and state regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, focusing on enhancing communication skills.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Deliver high-quality speech-language therapy to students, collaborating with teachers and other professionals to support students' educational and social development.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • Collaboration: Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to improve services.
Requirements
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state.
  • Certification: ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification.
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in speech therapy, preferably in a school setting.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local and state guidelines for speech-language therapy in educational environments.
