Position Details

Position Type: Full-Time

Shift: Various Shifts Available (Day, Evening, Night)

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct polysomnographic testing independently.
  2. Safely operate medical equipment used to record sleep/wake physiology.
  3. Explain procedures, prepare patients, and apply recording devices.
  4. Monitor polygraph recordings and audio/visual equipment to ensure patient safety, test quality, sleep/wake data, and other physiological events.
Qualifications
  1. National Registered Polysomnographic Technologist - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire or
  2. National Certified Polysomnographic Technician - Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists upon hire.
  3. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  4. 1 year of Experience as a polysomnographic technologist; 2 years preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Associate's Degree in Polysomnography.
  2. Membership in Association of Polysomnographic Technologist (APT) or American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) upon hire.
