Position Type: Full-time, direct hire

Location: Onsite in a dynamic environment

Compensation: Competitive salary range of $75,000 - $85,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including 401k matching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and communicate product assortments, line sheets, and inventory management while reviewing sales and sample orders for distributor partners.
  • Analyze sales performance to identify trends among best and worst sellers.
  • Continuously monitor regional order and sales statuses to pinpoint missed opportunities and propose actionable recommendations to boost sales.
  • Present product lines confidently and adeptly address challenging inquiries during presentations.

Daily and Weekly Duties:

  • Take ownership of product lines and brand initiatives, crafting assortments tailored to each market.
  • Collaborate with international partners to grasp product availability, sales samples, trends, key initiatives, marketing strategies, and overall product direction.
  • Maintain and update line sheets, including new additions, drops, and reductions for selected countries.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly meetings with partners to discuss business status and requirements.
  • Review overall sales performance to identify categories experiencing growth or decline.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to daily inquiries, ensuring effective communication of product and business-related information across regions.
  • Analyze sales data by country for your product lines, reporting on business trends by category.
  • Regularly evaluate product assortments to ensure representation of key initiatives and make informed recommendations for styles suited to distributor markets.
  • Work collaboratively with international merchandising and planning teams to maximize sales opportunities and manage projects effectively.
  • Adopt an assertive sales approach, demonstrating influence in person, via video calls, and through email communications.
  • Generate and review various reports to deliver insightful analysis.
  • Initiate and create reports utilizing data from internal systems.
  • Engage in corporate product review meetings to curate key initiative assortments biannually.
  • Attend global product conferences twice a year, acting as a host and supporting presentations and review sessions.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with senior management in international merchandising.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in merchandising or buying within the footwear, apparel, or accessories sectors.
  • Extensive product knowledge across a broad range of SKUs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Comfortable delivering presentations and addressing questions with confidence.
  • Possess a global perspective and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptable to changing business needs and priorities, demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Experience and Education:
