We are seeking an experienced Avionics Installation Manager to lead our team of technicians in the planning and execution of avionics installation projects. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in avionics installation and repair, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute avionics installation projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Lead and manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure that installation projects are completed in accordance with engineering plans and specifications.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that installations meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a lead or management role in an avionics installation or repair environment.
- At least five years of experience in avionics installation, repair, or maintenance, preferably with a focus on Garmin, Rockwell Collins, Honeywell, Avidyne, Aspen Avionics, Bendix-King, and other leading avionics brands.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college or university degree in aviation electronics or a related field preferred.
- Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) Certificate by National Center for Aerospace and Transportation Technologies (NCATT) or FAA Mechanic/Repairman's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant Ratings preferred.
- Criminal background check and compliance with FAA drug and alcohol screening requirements.
- Experience with EBis line of business software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
