About the Role

SierTeK Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Educational Technology Manager to support our operations in Dayton, OH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expertise and support for all educational technology needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all education technology, including spearheading requests for new educational technology needs, evaluating new software/hardware, identifying best fit, cost, network requirements, and making recommendations.
  • Provide expertise to design, develop, integrate, and manage the use of all Office 365 tools, including Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Forms, Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Create and deliver training on all software, hardware, and other technology as needed, in conjunction with education and training Subject Matter Experts.
  • Troubleshoot and identify solutions for all educational technology needs.
  • Create and/or maintain management control systems to monitor goals and objectives of educational technology program and project resources, and to determine and report on the impact of proposed resource changes and potential problem areas.
  • Evaluate and manage educational technology needs in the classroom, including modernization efforts.
  • Set goals and timelines, track progress, resolve technology issues, and report status to the Government representative.
  • Oversee the inventory and maintenance of educational technology related resources as directed by the Government representative.
  • Ensure the installment of new educational technology equipment and software in various buildings, classrooms, teaching pods, and auditoriums for F2F, Online, and Hybrid learning environments as directed by the Government representative.
  • Ensure the ordering, storing, coding/entering inventory into database, and disposing of all educational technology equipment as directed by the Government representative.
  • Participate in and support other projects within skill sets, including writing continuity documents, attending or presenting at local eLearning symposiums, defining capabilities for potential customers, collaborating with local colleges or multi-service partners, and supporting other USAFSAM special projects.
  • Work with the customer on any concerns about the technology and ensure that what is delivered matches the request and is delivered in a timely manner as determined by the Government representative.
Requirements
  • At a minimum, have 5 years of experience working with various types of educational/learning technology, such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), curriculum development software, Student Information Systems (SIS), etc.
  • At a minimum, have a Bachelor's degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Technology, or a related field.
  • Have expertise in Office 365 tools, including MS Windows, MS Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Publisher, MS Teams, MS Planner, MS Power BI, and Microsoft Forms.
  • Be professional, detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment yet be able to complete assigned tasks independently or with minimal guidance from team leads.
  • Possess organizational skills, ability to achieve set goals; initiative in performing assigned tasks; ability to follow-up complex projects with influence, and integrity; and ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel within and outside of the organization.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with project management.
  • Must be able to obtain a NACI (Tier 1) DoD clearance.
  • Prior work experience in a Governmental environment.
  • Experience with website design and management.
  • Proficient understanding of educational theory.
