The Behavioral Health Specialist V will work under the supervision of a Board Certified, Licensed Behavior Analyst to provide behavior support services, including behavior assessments, data analysis, and behavioral interventions. You will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and evaluation of behavior support plans, as well as providing training and technical assistance to staff.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop behavior support plans to meet individual needs.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to staff on applied behavior analysis and behavior support plan implementation.
  • Monitor and evaluate behavior support plans to ensure effective implementation.
  • Document individual progress and provide feedback to staff.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality enhancement activities related to behavioral health service provision.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of behavior analysis and behavioral health services.
  • Ability to administer discipline-specific assessments, including intelligence and adaptive behavior assessments.
  • Knowledge and skills in applied behavior analysis and behavior support plan development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Ability to train staff in behavior support plan implementation and basic psychological/behavioral concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Registration or Licensure Requirements:

Eligible to pursue board certification as a behavior analyst upon hire is preferred.

Initial Selection Criteria:
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, applied behavior analysis, or a related field.
  • At least six months experience in providing services to persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
