Baptist Medical Center South is seeking a skilled and dedicated LPN to join our Cardiology team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the Registered Nurse.
- Provide individualized patient care and support to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of Alabama.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
