The Corporate Security Specialist is tasked with ensuring a secure environment for all personnel, clients, and visitors at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP.
This position involves overseeing and regulating all incoming and outgoing traffic to safeguard individuals and assets against theft and vandalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain one of three designated posts to authorize the entry of all individuals, escorting and monitoring clients, visitors, and vendors to uphold access control and confidentiality.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises and protect property from theft and vandalism.
- Monitor surveillance systems and the C-Cure System to respond to alarms, open doors, investigate disturbances, and generate door activity reports upon request; manage ID card issuance and retrieval of recorded footage.
- Prepare detailed reports of daily activities and any irregularities, including equipment or property damage, suspected theft, unauthorized individuals, or unusual incidents.
- Provide accurate and organized activity logs at the conclusion of each shift.
- Respond to emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement, fire services, and medical teams as necessary.
- Offer phone and administrative support to various operational departments; manage incoming communications and requests efficiently.
- Handle reservations for meeting rooms and report necessary cleaning and maintenance to ensure readiness for use; deliver meals, packages, and documents as required.
- Accompany employees to retrieve special supplies and document items taken for departmental records.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid New York State Security License is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 to 5 years of experience in corporate security is required.
- Some college education is preferred.
- Familiarity with C-Cure and security software is advantageous.
Salary Information
The estimated base salary range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000. The actual salary offered will be based on various factors, including the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, education level, and any applicable certifications.
