Job Summary

The Off-Hours Maintenance Technician performs essential maintenance services and repairs in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs, and HVAC systems during off hours. This role ensures the smooth operation and maintenance of facilities outside of regular business hours, adhering to Aramark's standards and all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Monitoring & Maintenance: Oversee mechanical and HVAC systems, perform routine inspections, and execute necessary repairs.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Conduct basic upkeep tasks including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and painting.
  • Mechanical Tasks: Replace belts, grease bearings, change filters, and perform motor and pump replacements.
  • Pneumatic Tube Station Maintenance: Perform routine checks and repairs on pneumatic tube systems to ensure smooth operation.
  • Tool Usage: Utilize hand and power tools to efficiently complete maintenance tasks.
  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations, including OSHA, and maintain records according to Aramark and government standards.
  • Customer Service: Maintain a positive and efficient attitude toward customers, co-workers, and clients.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, mechanical work, or a related trade.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems, pneumatic tube systems, and computer-based monitoring systems. Ability to use hand and power tools; effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work all shifts as determined by management.
