Job Overview

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role at Western State Nursing is an excellent opportunity to provide long-term medical care and treatment for individuals with complex needs.


Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, dental, hair, and nail care
  • Observe and report skin breakdown
  • Help residents with daily activities
  • Collect specimens for lab analysis
  • Situate bedfast residents in comfortable positions
  • Aid residents in preparation for activities and programs
  • Record data as directed

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduate of a Medicaid-approved nursing assistant program and hold a certificate of completion
  • Kentucky State Registered Nurse Aide certification
  • Ability to pass facility requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
