Job Opportunity

Crossroads Animal Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Veterinarian to lead our medical team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality medical care and supporting the overall success of our practice operations.

About the Role

We are looking for a veterinarian with strong leadership experience or those with goals of leadership in the future. We offer a supportive and collaborative environment, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership to ensure seamless practice operations
  • Assist the Practice Manager with staffing and scheduling to meet practice goals
  • Grow relationships within the practice and the community
  • Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal training program
  • Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments
  • Oversee the medical care of all patients
  • Serve as the veterinarian of record for all required hospital permits and licenses
  • Partner with hospital leadership to ensure medical quality
Requirements
  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
  • Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
