Job Title: Operations Manager

Live Nation Entertainment is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Venue Management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our venue, ensuring seamless execution of events, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of facility operations and maintenance, including front of house operations, preventive maintenance, and capital projects.
  • Work closely with Department Managers to plan and execute day-of-show duties.
  • Ensure all tasks are handled personally or through delegation to other crew members as needed.
  • Respond to elevated staff and guest inquiries, concerns, and issues.
  • Oversee the implementation of artist meet and greet packages, amenities, and VIP programs.
  • Assist with planning and logistics of ancillary sales and seat upgrades.
  • Instruct Security and Guest Services teams on service standards.
  • Perform opening, running, and closing duties according to Live Nation policy.
  • Maintain line of sight and atmosphere control by circulating through work areas and reporting or addressing issues encountered.
  • Keep current on and execute Live Nation policies and standard operating procedures, and effectively communicate them to crew members.
  • Understand and assist with HR compliance and communications.
  • Oversee the creation of pre-shift checklists and event schedules and relay information from management directly to crew.
  • Maintain the security of Back of House areas.
  • Maintain and monitor records of all incident reports and investigate/manage all pending cases, including interviewing crew or other witnesses and attending arbitration hearings when necessary.
  • Assist in creating and implementing effective recruiting programs for seasonal event staff.
  • Manage event crew new hire onboarding and training for in-sourced positions, ensuring proper onboarding.
  • Effectively manage and approve all payroll for in-house departments.
  • Responsible for all required governmental reports and files.
  • Oversee third-party functions, including traffic and parking, housekeeping, groundskeeping, concessions operations, and in-house functions, including operations, maintenance, sustainability, merchandise, and IT.
  • Represent the company and facility in all political and community matters and act as a liaison with local municipalities.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of venue operations and facility management.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a House/Operations Manager or a comparable role.
  • Ability to perform all job duties and responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple departments with a large staff, ideally experience managing Security, Guest Service Representatives, Ticket Takers, and Ushers.
  • Computer skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience using Workday or time-keeping systems is a plus.
  • Experience dealing with police and public officials.
