Job Overview: As a School-Based Psychologist, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the mental health and academic performance of our students. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering psychological assessments, interventions, and consultations to address emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges within the school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and screen students to assess cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop comprehensive evaluation reports detailing all assessments and goals.
  • Collaborate with the IEP Team to create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for annual reviews and provide input for students undergoing three-year re-evaluations.
  • Provide consultation to classroom teachers on student progress, behavior management techniques, and establishing individualized behavior plans.
  • Participate in special education meetings to ensure students receive the support they need.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A Master's degree in School Psychology.
  • A valid MIPsychology License.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in schools or pediatric offices is highly valued.
