Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our GI Bariatric team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient care, providing education and support to patients and families, and contributing to the development of new policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient care, ensuring that all aspects of treatment are addressed, including medication management, wound care, and pain control
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients and families, addressing topics such as nutrition, exercise, and disease management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the development of new policies and procedures, ensuring that they align with national standards and best practices
- Document patients' treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge instructions accurately and thoroughly
