PTC Tester (onsite in Nebraska)
Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled test leader with extensive experience in Positive Train Control (PTC) systems, who can work onsite in Nebraska. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transportation and logistics, coupled with a passion for enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead PTC testing initiatives and ensure adherence to engineering standards.
- Provide expert analysis of PTC operations and contribute to the development of testing protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement new systems.
- Communicate findings and impacts to management effectively, ensuring alignment across teams.
- Support ongoing PTC operations and assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of PTC systems and serve as a subject matter expert.
- Monitor installed systems and provide technical guidance to support teams.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in PTC testing or engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications at an expert level.
- Experience with SQL is advantageous.
- 5+ years of PTC operations analysis experience.
- 3+ years of experience in PTC messaging and testing.
- Familiarity with GCOR regulations is preferred.
