The role of an Electrical Engineering Associate is crucial in delivering precise and comprehensive engineering documentation to our production teams. This includes selecting appropriate electrical assemblies and, when necessary, updating or creating new ones. Collaboration with fellow engineers and cross-departmental teams is essential to ensure that manufacturing has access to the correct documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate manufacturing documentation, including schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and procedural guidelines.
  • Interpret and utilize schematics for designing wire harnesses and diagnosing electrical circuits.
  • Develop wire harnesses in accordance with schematic specifications.
  • Choose wire harnesses tailored to specific battery requirements.
  • Employ basic electronic diagnostic tools (such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and current meters) for battery troubleshooting.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing critical tasks to streamline development from concept to initial production.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (preferred) or progress towards such a degree.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Adept at working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CAD software for design and drafting purposes.
