Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Mission Systems. As a Linux Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our enterprise-class systems, including specialized Linux OS, cross-domain solutions, boundary devices, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain enterprise-class systems, including specialized Linux OS and cross-domain solutions.
  • Provide customer service and support for system-related issues.
  • Develop and implement security technical implementation guides (STIGs) and mitigation of vulnerabilities as directed by IA based on scan findings and applicable DoD direction.
  • Manage cross-domain enterprise-level solutions, including re-imaging workstations, servers, and databases (both physical and virtual).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operation and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Willingness to complete a polygraph within a reasonable time frame after hire.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Red Hat Linux command line administration experience.
  • System/server builds and advanced troubleshooting skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication skills.
