Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team at AmeriVet Services LLC. As a vital member of our veterinary care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including phlebotomy, client education, and animal restraint
- Perform routine tasks such as nail trims, anal gland expression, and radiology
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and education on veterinary care and wellness
- Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations
- High school diploma or equivalent required; veterinary technology degree or certification a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods, with flexibility to work varied shifts
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in veterinary software (Avimark)
- Competitive salary range: $17-$23/hour (based on experience)
