Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Technology Product Management, Digital Lending to join our team at Wolters Kluwer N.V. This role will be responsible for guiding a team that oversees product lines contributing to the revenue of a business unit, focusing on digital lending solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain professional knowledge and stay up-to-date with current developments and trends in the area of expertise.
  • Develop plans and strategies to introduce new technology when appropriate.
  • Recommend and develop innovations that enhance operations and provide a competitive advantage.
  • Lead and develop a team to deliver successful results on time and within budget.
  • Build products from existing ideas and help develop new products based on industry experience and customer contact.
  • Analyze and resolve complex problems using a structured approach.
  • Set priorities and allocate time to assigned activities, maintaining an awareness of interrelationships among activities.
  • Involve in full lifecycle application development, emphasizing agile development methodologies.
  • Understand design, development, and testing methodologies to ensure quality software products.
  • Develop alternative courses of action and make decisions based on logical assumptions and factual information.
  • Build market confidence in Wolters Kluwer and its products and services.
  • Maintain confidentiality of eOriginal strategies, plans, and proprietary information.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of product management experience.
  • Strong familiarity with digital lending, including consumer, commercial, or real estate financing.
  • Previous experience in the mortgage industry, with a specific understanding of the mortgage closing process and appreciation for electronic closings.
  • Familiarity with electronic document delivery and e-signing of financial instruments.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate the product vision to external markets and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills to drive requirements gathering with stakeholders from numerous teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile principles, Sprint planning practices, product refinement, and story estimation.
  • Familiarity with contextual research and incorporating UX/UI design methodologies.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented methodologies, principles, practices, and modeling.
  • Familiarity with REST API concepts and terminology.
  • Previous experience launching new products and product extensions.
  • Experience working in product teams that support business high-volume transactional systems.
