Key Responsibilities- Implement behavior management techniques to prevent, intervene, and address behavioral challenges.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals in need.
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to achieve learning and behavioral goals.
- Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to ensure effective support.
- Assist in facilitating academic instruction and supporting students in developing independent living skills.
- Document session data and maintain accurate records.
- Collect and analyze behavioral and academic data to inform support strategies.
- Adhere to confidentiality requirements and maintain professional boundaries.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
- Compliance with relevant professional standards of practice.
- Participation in Amergis' Competency program.
- Current CPR certification (if applicable).
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray (if applicable).
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Successful completion of new hire training (if applicable).
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in the English language.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
