Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Concierge to join our team at our Montclair, New Jersey location. As a Concierge, you will be the first point of contact for residents and guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that every interaction is personalized, efficient, and exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and Greet: Welcome residents and guests, determine the nature of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate destination.
  • Package and Delivery Management: Receive and distribute packages and deliveries, ensuring timely and secure handling.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, resolving complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Clerical Support: Perform basic clerical duties, including answering telephones, faxing, copying, and scheduling.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, guests, and colleagues, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of services.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year of prior Front Desk/Office environment experience.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with residents, guests, and colleagues, demonstrating a high level of interpersonal skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely completion of duties.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift boxes up to 25 pounds and stand for several hours, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Proficiency in handling office equipment, including complex multiple-lined telephones, printers, and copy machines.
  • Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, with a focus on meeting the needs of residents and guests.
