About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our kitchen team at TGI Friday's. As a Prep Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all prepared food meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare a wide variety of foods according to recipe requirements and to adhere to product sensitivities and plate presentation guidelines.
  • Ensure that all prepared food meets TGI Fridays standard of excellence, 100% recipe adherence, and adheres to product sensitivity and plate presentation guidelines.
  • Comply with all food safety rules, laws, protocols, and standards.
  • Keep updated on recipe changes and ensure proper execution of recipe procedures to maintain a high quality and consistent product.
  • Keep entire prep area clean; stocks and sets up rotation, and keeps prepared food continuously stocked on the line.
  • Communicate to management team when running low on product and completes assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station.
  • Assist with Line Checks and ensures every product in the prep area, walk-ins, and freezers is within sensitivity guidelines and adheres to food safety standards.
  • Requisitions products on a timely basis and operates and maintains equipment properly.
  • Cleans and sanitizes throughout the shift and ensures proper rotation of all products and stocks products to par.
  • Labels, day dots and signs all products as appropriate and keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
Requirements
  • A positive attitude and a love of satisfying guests.
  • Respect for the responsibility you have on everyone else's job down the line.
  • Able to lift 70 lbs and stand for 6-8 hours.
