Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity at PARS Therapy

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to contribute to our team at PARS Therapy. This role offers a unique chance to work in an interdisciplinary environment, focusing on patient-centered care.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging speech therapy exercises and activities for patients
  • Provide counseling and consultation services to new patients and their families
  • Develop personalized goals and objectives for patients, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of speech pathology equipment, adhering to sterilization and safety protocols
  • Review patient files prior to appointments, demonstrating a clear understanding of the challenges to be addressed
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills within the field

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Therapy and licensure in the State of Texas
  • Proficiency in computer software used for documentation and report preparation
  • Master's degree in speech therapy is required
  • Demonstrate knowledge and adherence to HIPAA legislation and other patient privacy laws
  • Experience handling sensitive patient records and information
  • Ability to troubleshoot common software and hardware issues related to speech pathology tools
  • Physical stamina to work primarily in a standing position
  • Professional demeanor when explaining procedures and treatments
  • Attention to detail when handling and documenting patient data
