As an Inspector 4 Direct, you will utilize established methods and technical documentation to evaluate and verify the integrity of aircraft components. Your role will involve:

  • Conducting inspections on both in-process and completed assemblies, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and standards.
  • Employing various measuring instruments to assess components, identifying defects or malfunctions that necessitate further action.
  • Certifying components as airworthy, following thorough inspections and adherence to applicable maintenance manuals and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on company policies and safety protocols.
  • Examine assemblies and components to ensure they meet contractual obligations.
  • Complete necessary inspection documentation accurately, including FAA forms and maintenance releases.
  • Ensure calibration of inspection and testing equipment, taking corrective measures when discrepancies are found.
  • Maintain continuous oversight of assigned areas to guarantee compliance with technical data and procedural standards.
  • Conduct internal audits as directed by the Quality Engineer.
  • Act as a technical consultant for inspection-related matters.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
