We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Service Technician IV to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing installed fire alarm and security systems, including panel repair and reprogramming, device replacement and repair, and system testing.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex electrical systems, including fire alarm and security systems
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and operational manuals to ensure accurate installation and repair of systems
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency service calls as needed
- 4+ years of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including fire alarm and security systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs
- Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
- NICET Level II certification
