Oversee and orchestrate all maintenance-related functions within a medium to large-scale facility, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and company policies.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of team members to promote productivity and operational efficiency.

Enforce compliance with all safety, fire, environmental, and health regulations.

Plan and manage maintenance tasks utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Work alongside the facility's General Manager to establish and adhere to annual budgets for labor and materials, analyzing monthly utility reports to propose innovative energy management solutions.

In automated facilities, partner with the General Manager to schedule maintenance activities and liaise with automation vendors during hardware and software commissioning.

Advise on future capital projects for the facility and ensure their timely execution.

Lead site-specific energy efficiency projects in collaboration with the Energy Management department.

Provide insights on the design and management of future building or automation projects in partnership with Network Optimization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience with ammonia, Freon, and/or CO2 refrigeration systems in temperature-controlled environments.

Preferred experience with CMMS.

Required experience in Material Handling Equipment repair.

  • Minimum of 3 years in facility maintenance management, including resource allocation.
Experience in automated warehouse or distribution management for automated facilities.

Proven knowledge of Process Safety Management and Risk Management Plan regulations, along with program implementation and compliance oversight.

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical fundamentals and applications.

Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to navigate ambiguity.

Ability to work in extreme temperatures, from -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage, while utilizing provided personal protective equipment.

Comfortable with varying noise levels, which can be significant.
