Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Evening Supervisor at Elmhurst Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing oversight and direction to our nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Oversight: Provide guidance and direction to our clinical team, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care.
  • Clinical Expertise: Make rounds with physicians as necessary, review care plans daily, and monitor residents' conditions to ensure that appropriate care is being rendered.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, family members, staff, and medical teams to ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the quality of care provided to our residents.
  • Staff Development: Provide training and support to our nursing staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality care.
Requirements
  • Education: Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island.
  • Certifications: Current CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Experience: Four (4) or more years of nursing experience, with at least one (1) year of experience as a supervisor in a nursing care center, hospital, or other related healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Ability to multi-task, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
