Evening Custodian

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

• Perform janitorial and cleaning activities within established guidelines, assigned areas, and shift(s) to ensure quality standards, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.
• Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and report equipment/cleaning product needs and/or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, floors, and commodes, and daily cleaning and sanitizing of rooms, common areas, and furniture.
• Remove and dispose of trash and perform all other related duties as assigned.
• Interact appropriately with facility personnel, supervisor, and the public, and respond to customer preferences, comply with industry, federal, and state guidelines.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous school custodial/janitorial experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions, cooperate with co-workers and facility staff, and perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.
• Must be able to be at work as scheduled on time, be on your feet, mostly walking, 6-8 hours per day, and lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
