Hospitalist APP

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Hospitalist APP to join our team at St. Joseph's Hospital. As a key member of our medical team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and individualized care to our patients.

• Manage comprehensive and individualized care for patients, including biological, social, and psychological assessments.
• Coordinate involvement of medical specialty teams necessary to develop a comprehensive plan for the patient.
• Review the plan of care with other members of the clinical team, participate in directing that care, perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures, and coordinate discharge planning (as applicable).
• Participate in the education of medical/nursing students.
• Provide healthcare services consistent with state law and the requirements of the professional licensing or certification authority and/or hospital privileges, where applicable.

• Graduate of a CCNE accredited nursing program with Master's Degree in Nursing.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure, or eligibility for licensure, as a professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in West Virginia.
• BLS Certification; NRP Certification; ACLS Certification.
• Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine experience.

• ACNPs preferred, but will consider FNPs.
• Masters level education as Medical/Surgical (as applicable) Physician Assistant preferred.
