Job Summary

Pride Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing procedures and examinations in the radiology department under the direction of radiologists and other medical providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate x-ray information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
  • Use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Explain procedures and observe patients to ensure safety and comfort during scan.
  • Operate or oversee the operation of radiologic and magnetic imaging equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position and immobilize the patient on the examining table.
  • Position imaging equipment and adjust controls to set exposure time and distance, according to the specification of examination.
  • Document all patient data, code, and bill patient data.
  • Clean and adjust radiology equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an Accredited Radiology Program.
  • Must be board certified ARRT(R), or board eligible.
  • Must be board certified within 6 months of hire.
  • Certified by the State of Washington to practice and administer radiation.
  • CT experience required.
